I’ve been planning to start something like this for a while now. Also had a few discussions with a friend about this. But the idea didn’t even get to the design boards. Now a firm in Mumbai has started something quite similar. Eco Move Solutions has started a bicycle rental with over 40 stations across the city. I’m sure as hell gonna call these guys the next time I fly out to Mumbai.

I live in Pondicherry where we have bicycles in abundance. I doubt there are too many options for renting bikes in Mumbai though. I checked on Google and couldn’t find anything. Good luck with your search. Please let me know if you do come across something.
